Stephanie Duncan — Lead Teacher
Stephanie Duncan holds a masters degree in early Childhood Education and an undergraduate degree in Art History. Stephanie is warm, fun loving, vibrant and energetic. She designs thoughtful and creative lesson plans, and has established a great balance of fun and learning in her classroom. She has been with LCNS since 2003.

Mishea Obiji — Assistant Teacher
Mishea has been with LCNS since 2002. Mishea is a talented artist and loving mother of one. Mishea has shared her talents with us by including her artwork in our end of the year graduation programs. She shows great compassion for the children, and is ultimately patient, and is a very consistant teacher. She has many years under her belt teaching at schools in Lawrence.

Kelsi Dawn Hunt — Assistant Teacher
Kelsi has attended Emporia State to study education and has since decided that she wants to work in the early childhood area. From observing her in our classroom, Kelsi has a lot of enthusiasm and the kids enjoyed having her around. Kelsi also has experience as the Kid’s Club Director at Maximus Fitness & Wellness and has been a nanny. We are happy to welcome Kelsi to the LCNS teaching staff in January 2010.

Board Members
We have a wide variety of board members, ranging from President to Events Coordinater. Each year a general election is held in which all LCNS parents participate in the voting process. All parents are encouraged to run for board positions, as it is important to add fresh ideas and perspectives to the constant evelolution of The Lawrence Community Nursery School.
